I don't understand...Everything, and I mean everything, seems all wrong. I have it on good authority that life is supposed to be better than this. All the television shows I've ever watched have told me that family members love each other, a single person does make a difference, countries are made up of individuals who can get along, and our elected officials have only our best interests at heart.
And then I watch the news, and none of that, and I mean none of that, seems to be true. Which television show is reality? Can I call in and vote on it? Do I actually have a choice? The first world is sane and logical; the second one makes no sense at all.
Of course there are always going to be bad people, but the vast majority of the billions of people in the world can't possibly be so stupid that they don't know they have the power to shape their world any way they want to. All they have to do is act locally for their own betterment, and the world becomes a collection of gardens of eden, if not a unified one.
I know I'm only a little bear, but surely things can be better.
